Job summary

Zohorecruit in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage bills of materials, costing, and engineering change orders within the Engineering team. You will create foam sets, coordinate with foam vendors, and set up items in Oracle, while updating cost information and maintaining weekly BOM quality data.

You’ll contribute to improving data accuracy and production readiness for new models, beta runs, and ongoing programs.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience using Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities.
• Team player capable of initiating new projects and meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create foam sets and communicate with foam vendors.
• Setting up items in Oracle.
• Updating cost information for foam sets and performing costing for new models.
• Creating new Bill of Materials.
• Updating older Bill of Materials.
• Implementing Engineering change orders.
• Updating Engineering Backlog.
• Maintaining weekly data regarding Bill of Material quality.
• Involved in the Beta production process.
