Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc (SSR) seeks an Engineer II to apply standard design engineering techniques on smaller projects or portions of larger work. You will coordinate with other disciplines, perform analyses, and help keep deliverables on schedule and within budget while meeting client and code requirements.

You will participate in design development, QA/QC checks, and coordination with owners, utilities, and municipalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program with four years of applicable experience in design and analysis.
• Registered Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard design engineering techniques on small projects or segments of larger work.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines to determine equipment needs and operating procedures.
• Attend meetings with owners, clients, and architects; document decisions and action items.
