Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or teaching certificate from out of state.
• Content exam and Science of Teaching Reading exam requirements met, if applicable.
• Certification must meet requirements for becoming and remaining qualified for this position per state law.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements and show written evidence of preparation.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Assess student learning styles and adapt curricula for IEPs with special education staff.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers and integrate technology into learning.
