Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in delivering a creative, interactive activities program tailored to residents' interests and needs.

You will plan and run activities, coordinate communications among staff, residents, families, and agencies, and help with calendars, transportation, and documentation; prior long-term care exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: one-year experience in a long term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and conducting activities for residents.
• Assist in effective communication between staff, residents, families and agencies.
• Assist in developing monthly activity calendars and attendance records.
• Help arrange transportation for residents for outings and appointments.
• Maintain a clean and secure Activity Department.
