Job summary

TECO Energy is seeking a Mgr Training - Energy Supply to lead the workforce development, craft skills, and leadership programs across Energy Supply. You will partner with SMEs to identify competency needs, create training, and ensure teams at all levels possess necessary knowledge and behaviors.

You will govern the procedure management program, drive documentation control, and coordinate with internal stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in training, leadership development, and/or education.
• At least 3 years of experience in procedure and/or training development.
• Experience with ISD program development preferred in a utility environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate craft, technical, and operational training for Energy Supply.
• Develop and manage professional workforce development programs for engineers, supervisors, managers, and planners.
• Lead cross-departmental efforts for procedure management, including development, formatting, control, and updates.
• Governance of procedure management and routine reviews and audits.
• Prepare, review, and implement new procedures and training for capital projects.
• Oversee hands-on skills training to ensure safe, efficient work and proper use of tools.
