Job summary

Tampa Electric Company is seeking a Manager Training - Energy Supply to oversee the workforce development program, craft skills training, and leadership development across Energy Supply. You will partner with SMEs to identify competency needs and implement training aligned with safety and business goals.

The role drives procedural governance, develops qualification programs, and ensures employees possess required knowledge and behaviors. Travel to plants is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of experience in Training, Leadership Development, and/or Education.
• 3 years of experience in procedure and/or training development.
• Preferred: ISD program development experience in a utility environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate craft, technical, and operational training and assessments for Energy Supply.
• Lead professional workforce development programs for engineers, supervisors, managers, and planners.
• Oversee the procedure management program: development, approval, formatting, control, and updates.
• Govern procedure management and conduct routine reviews and audits for accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and implement new procedures and training for capital projects.
