Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an Energy Technician II to join our York, PA area team. You will perform home energy assessments and install efficiency measures, improving safety and comfort while reducing utility costs for customers.

This field-based role requires daily travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within program guidelines. A valid driver's license and background check completion are required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to conduct home energy assessments and evaluations in customers’ homes, including attics, basements, crawl spaces and garages.
• Install energy savings measures such as attic insulation, caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and water heaters.
• Record and report data electronically or manually to meet program requirements.
• Represent the program and CLEAResult to encourage participation and overcome barriers to energy savings.
• Travel daily within a defined service territory; a company vehicle is provided.

This is not a sales position, nor are we an energy supplier/seller. Our team of passionate, skilled energy efficiency professionals work with local utility programs to deliver FREE Energy Conservation programs in our communities. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record.
