Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring a Technician to educate residential customers on Energy Waste Reduction and install basic energy-efficient equipment. You’ll inspect homes for insulation, air sealing, and HVAC upgrades, offering cost-saving recommendations in a safety-conscious, customer-focused role.

The position requires a clean driving record, a four-day work week with 10-hour days, and travel within a defined Metro Detroit territory. Training is provided to support installation and field work.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and various software.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install basic energy-efficient equipment and inspect homes.
• Provide guidance on energy savings and utility programs.
• Educate customers about Energy Waste Reduction.
• Travel within defined territory; manage company vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain and document progress with program staff.

Candidates must live in or within a reasonable commuting distance from their territory.The employee will have a four-day work week, working 10 hour days. You will be provided a company van and need a clean driving record. This role is remote with no overnight travel.This is not a sales role! No cold calling required. Customers schedule their own appointments through a support team and scheduled appointments are provided to you.You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. You would be educating power utility customers on Energy Waste Reduction.
