Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an Energy Technician to join our team in the Pottsville, PA area. This entry-level role provides on-the-job training to install energy efficiency measures and reduce home energy bills for residential customers.

You will work with team members, learning attic insulation, caulking, lightbulbs, thermostats, and minor repairs, while assisting with loading, setup, and safety on job sites.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with on-the-job training.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install energy savings measures (attic insulation, caulking, lightbulbs, fixtures) in residential homes.
• Perform minor repairs to windows/doors and assist with job-site setup and tear-down.
• Load/unload work trucks and keep job sites organized and safe.

Job Description

This is a field role supporting the Pottsvile, PA area. We are looking for an eager individual... To join our team as an Energy Technician. This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers. No prior experience needed. We provide on the job training where you will learn how to: Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors Assist with loading and unloading work trucks Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe Assist with job site set up and tear down

Physical requirements

• Able to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather
• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday
• Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools
• Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories)
• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
