Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead large, complex proposals for energy services across government, commercial, and industrial clients. You will craft winning themes, structure documents, and visually present solutions, coordinating with legal, sales, EH&S, operations, and technical teams.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Marketing, Communications or a related field is required.
• 6–8 years of proposal development/management experience, ideally with engineering or technical proposals.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to keep complex proposals on track.
• Experience writing and shaping complex technical proposals with clear win themes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire proposal workload, prioritizing and driving submissions from inception to completion.
• Shape strategic win themes, structure proposal documents, and visually represent solutions.
• Support creation of sales enablement content, including client presentations and case studies.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline drafting, editing, and content generation.
• Track data such as due dates, responsible parties, total bid amount, and win rate; report trends.
• Develop detailed responses to proposals and qualification packages across opportunities.
• Coordinate pricing alignment with Account Managers and document pricing assumptions.
• Develop implementation and transition plans for new and existing customers.
• Follow up on proposal contents with sales and operations for feedback; maintain collateral database.
