Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end proposal development for energy services, shaping win themes and structuring complex documents.

You will collaborate with legal, sales, EH&S, operations, and technical teams to ensure accurate, competitive proposals and to drive business growth. Strong PM, storytelling, and graphics skills are essential, with AI tools integration and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Marketing, Communications or Related field
• 6-8 years of proposal development/management experience, ideally with a strong background in engineering or technical proposals.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills to keep complex, multi-stakeholder proposals on track.
• Extensive knowledge in understanding, structuring, and writing complex technical proposals.
• Strong proficiency and efficiency in using AI tools within the proposal process.
• Experience developing high-quality sales enablement materials, such as client presentations and case studies.
• Excellent eye for document design, graphics, and visual representation of data.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite.
• Strong customer orientation and team player.
• Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire proposal workload from inception to completion with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Shape strategic win themes, structure proposal documents, and visually represent technical solutions.
• Support creation of sales enablement content such as client presentations and case studies.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline drafting, editing and content generation.
• Track data on customers, proposal due dates, budgets, responsible parties, and total bid amount.
• Develop and write detailed responses for global, national, and regional opportunities.
• Coordinate pricing under management and verify pricing assumptions for final proposals.
• Develop implementation and transition plans for new or existing customers.
• Follow up on proposal contents with sales and operations to gather feedback.
