Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to provide leadership and support within the Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project teams and construction sites.

The role involves leading safety program collaboration, conducting hazard assessments, developing training, overseeing safety documentation and OSHA reporting, and coaching safety staff. Must be able to travel up to 100% and uphold Mortenson's safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Or high school diploma plus CHST, OSHA 500 and 14+ years of construction safety leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage the Zero Injury Safety Program across the operating group.
• Lead safety program collaboration with trade partners and joint-venture partners.
• Conduct site hazard assessments with project management during planning and construction.
• Develop and conduct safety training, including train-the-trainer sessions.
