Mortenson is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead the Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project teams and construction sites in the United States. You will plan, implement, and monitor safety initiatives, conduct hazard analyses, and drive training programs to maintain high safety standards.

You will mentor safety staff, coordinate with leaders, and ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and other standards while traveling up to 100% to support projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field is required.
• Or a high school diploma with CHST, OSHA 500 and 14+ years of construction safety leadership experience.
• CSP certification preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, lead, and manage Zero Injury Safety Program elements across operating groups and sites.
• Lead safety program collaboration with trade partners and joint-venture partners.
• Conduct hazard assessments with project management during planning and construction phases.
• Develop and deliver safety training and orientation content; train-the-trainer sessions.

Formation

Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field

High school diploma + CHST, OSHA 500 and 14+ years construction safety experience

Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
