Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead and oversee multiple projects across the nation. The role supports planning, organization, and direction with engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations.

The executive will manage project profitability and maintain strong owner relationships. This position can be fully remote or hybrid, with in-office presence in San Diego, CA, and will require coordinating with Owners, Subcontractors, and regulatory entities to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Direct relevant industry experience preferred, skilled with knowledge related to construction and operation of electrical equipment and installation.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Leadership ability to assemble diverse remote teams into a high-performing project group.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project-level executive decisions on critical cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Oversee change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, and regulators.
• Coordinate with other departments including business development, estimating, and services.
• Hire, train, and mentor project team members across various roles.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and SOLV safety policies.
