Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to provide leadership and oversight to multiple projects across our team, including engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations. This role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA.

Specific location details will be discussed during the interview process. You will review contracts, approve schedules and budgets, manage risk, drive change orders, and mentor team members while ensuring

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Leadership ability to pull together team members from diverse backgrounds in a remote environment and organize them into a cohesive, high‑performing project team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project level executive decisions on critical aspects of the work involving significant cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Coordinate, lead, and document routine project update meetings with client and internal stakeholders regarding the status and progress of the work.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for a variety of roles on project teams.
