Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Renewables Project Manager to join our team. You will oversee design delivery, manage budgets, and lead multi-project initiatives in the energy storage sector.

The role requires 8+ years in civil engineering design and project management, with responsibilities spanning client relations, business development, and mentoring staff. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of project management experience.
• Professional licensure in a technical field or ability to obtain PMP certification.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and delivery of projects in a profitable manner.
• Oversee the technical aspects of various projects.
• Supervise the work of engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project.
• Develop project work plans and budget projections and effectively deploy resources.
• Review, interpret and act upon business metrics including utilization, backlog, work in process and account receivables.
• Prepare, maintain and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Complete monthly project accounting and invoicing.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures.
• Lead business development activities
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions
• Represent clients and firm in meetings with governmental agencies
• Grow, mentor and train staff
