Job summary

Westwood Professional Services seeks a National Energy Storage Electrical Leader to manage the Energy Storage Electrical Team within the Renewables Division. You will drive service strategy, develop leaders, and ensure alignment with market goals across multiple offices.

You will oversee staffing, performance, and compensation, while shaping professional development and technical standards. This role emphasizes innovation, client relationships, and strategic growth within renewable energy

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in engineering consulting.
5+ years of experience leading design teams.
Experience working for: (1) an engineering consulting firm or (2) EPCs, developers, or construction contractors in the renewable energy sector.
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
Professional Engineer license is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

Lead the Energy Storage Electrical Team across multiple offices; manage technical, operational, legal, and financial matters.
Develop and implement strategies for team organization and evolution aligned with organizational goals.
Foster staff development, mentorship, and leadership; oversee hiring, promotions, and compensation decisions.
Set quality standards and procedures; monitor KPIs and risk in proposals and projects.
Drive service growth and maintain existing client relationships; support market-driven business development.
