Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or able to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of progressive design and project management experience.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and delivery of projects profitably.
• Oversee technical aspects of various projects.
• Supervise engineers and support personnel.
• Develop work plans, budgets, and resource deployment.
• Review metrics: utilization, backlog, WIP, AR.
• Prepare schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop milestones for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Handle monthly project accounting and invoicing.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Participate in bidding, review submittals and RFIs.
• Resolve design conflicts and field issues.
• Represent clients and firm in meetings with agencies.
• Write proposals and lead interviews.
• Grow, mentor and train staff.
• Build relationships with clients and partners.
• Lead business development activities.
• Negotiate contract terms.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and values.
