Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2, to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at substations and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to various job sites and requires safety-first execution and detailed documentation.

Minimum qualifications include 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards, OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, and ability to travel 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Work towards a C-10 contractor’s license or a Certified Electrical Worker Card.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.
• Must pass exams on electrical schematics, diagrams and troubleshooting.
• Must hold OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e safety training.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform site testing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and energized electrical work following safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Lead and assist in developing technical/safety policy and procedures.
• Ensure safe work environment and adherence to company and industry safety standards.
