Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Project Development Engineer to support energy solutions in the federal market. The role emphasizes self-motivation, a strong technical background, and ability to transition from HVAC design to energy engineering within our Energy Solutions group.

The candidate should have 1–3+ years of relevant experience, be capable of performing energy audits, savings calculations, and reporting, and collaborate with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• 1–3+ years of energy services/consulting experience preferred in federal market.
• Familiarity with DOE/Army Corps IDIQ contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits.
• Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations.
• Write reports on various aspects of the project.
• Attend meetings with Project Manager and clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
