Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Project Development Engineer in the federal market to help in our Energy Solutions offices. The Energy Solutions division is the fastest growing within CMTA, and the successful candidate thrives on helping clients with a strong technical background in HVAC design and commissioning.

The role includes leading site visits, audits, energy calculations, directing engineering design, bidding, and final contract development, with coordination across

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with energy services/consulting in federal market.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and explain performance contracting to potential clients.
• Lead the development phase including site visits, audits, energy calculations, etc.
• Direct the engineering design team producing drawings and specifications.
• Direct the bidding process and develop the final contract with the client.
• Coordinate with construction manager for a smooth construction period.
• Oversee commissioning process and participate during warranty period.
• Collaborate with M&V professionals to develop the first year M&V report.
