Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Project Development Engineer in the federal market to support our Energy Solutions offices. The role is ideal for engineers with HVAC design and commissioning backgrounds transitioning to energy engineering within our team.

Responsibilities include building and system audits, energy analyses and savings calculations, and reporting; you will collaborate with the Project Manager and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3+ years in energy services or consulting engineering/commissioning in federal market preferred.
• Experience with DOE or Army Corps IDIQ contract requirements is a plus.
• Familiarity with building simulation and energy modeling techniques is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits.
• Conduct energy analyses and savings calculations.
• Write reports on project aspects and findings.
• Attend meetings with the Project Manager and clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
