CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Project Development Engineer in the federal market to join our Energy Solutions offices. The role centers on energy projects, HVAC design, and performance contracting, requiring a strong technical background and client-facing responsibilities.

You will conduct building and system audits, energy analyses, report writing, and meetings with project managers and clients. A Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 1–3+ years in energy services or commissioning is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• 1–3+ years of energy services/consulting engineering experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DOE and/or Army Corps of Engineers IDIQ contract requirements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits.
• Conduct energy analysis and savings calculations.
• Write reports on various aspects of the project.
• Attend meetings with the Project Manager and the clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
