Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, invites applications for a Project Development Engineer in the federal market to support our Energy Solutions offices in Florida. The role targets professionals with strong HVAC design and energy engineering backgrounds who can audit buildings, analyze energy savings, and deliver comprehensive reports to clients.

Responsibilities include audits, energy calculations, and coordinating with the Project Manager and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum 1–3+ years of experience in Energy Services or related federal market work preferred.
• Experience with energy analysis, DOE/Army Corps contracts, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building and system audits.
• Perform energy analysis and savings calculations.
• Write reports on project aspects and findings.
• Attend meetings with Project Manager and clients.
• Other duties as assigned.
