Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support the Energy Solutions offices across multiple regions, including CA. The role emphasizes HVAC design, commissioning, and performance contracting, with opportunities to lead project phases from conception to completion.

The successful candidate will have a 0-3 year background in energy services or related engineering and will collaborate with teams to develop client opportunities and deliver energy calculations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and present project opportunities to potential clients
• Support client meetings, industry events, and proposal development
• Project development including site visits, audits, and energy calculations
• Engineering design review of drawings and specifications
• Support the bidding process to ensure quality and competitive outcomes
• Help facilitate the contract administration process
• Work with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period
• Commission installed systems to validate performance
• Support the client through the warranty phase as needed
• Work with our M&V professional to develop M&V reports
