Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions offices in the Boston area. The role supports performance contracting, HVAC design, commissioning, and energy calculations across multiple regions.

You will work with a collaborative team to develop opportunities, assist in client meetings, and help deliver projects from conception to completion, with growth opportunities in a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience with an Energy Services company OR a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
• A background in HVAC design and commissioning is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and present project opportunities to potential clients.
• Support client meetings, industry events, and proposal development.
• Project development including site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
• Engineering design review of drawings and specifications.
• Support the bidding process to ensure quality and competitive outcomes.
• Help facilitate the contract administration process.
• Work with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period.
• Commission installed systems to validate performance.
• Support the client through the warranty phase as needed.
• Work with our M&V team to develop M&V reports.
