Job summary

TruTeam in Minnesota is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to expand residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify leads, conduct daily sales calls, present proposals, and manage accounts from start to finish.

The role requires 3+ years in building products sales, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel locally (>50%). Comprehensive benefits include base + commissions, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials/services based on customer needs.
• Understand market conditions, monitor competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Any other duty as assigned.
