The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in energy law and a JD from an accredited law school. The position offers a strong benefits package and a competitive compensation range between $190,000 and $390,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in energy law, preferably with regulatory and transactional experience.
• Familiarity with the Federal Power Act and market mechanics.
• Ability to draft bespoke energy contracts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate power purchase agreements and custom energy service agreements.
• Advise on complex electric market design issues within RTOs/ISOs.
• Represent clients in proceedings before the FERC.
