The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in energy law, a JD from an accredited law school, and must be admitted to practice or eligible to waive in Arizona. This role offers competitive compensation between $190,000 and $390,000 annually depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in energy law with regulatory and transactional experience.
• Familiarity with the Federal Power Act and power market mechanics.
• Demonstrated ability to draft bespoke energy contracts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate power purchase agreements and custom energy service agreements.
• Advise on complex electric market design issues within RTOs/ISOs.
• Represent clients in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
• Counsel on emerging energy policy and renewable energy integration.
