Ideal candidates will have 3–6 years of experience, knowledge of the Federal Power Act, and must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction. The position offers competitive benefits including an annual bonus and comprehensive insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in energy law with regulatory and transactional experience.
• Must be familiar with the Federal Power Act and power market mechanics.
• Ability to draft bespoke energy contracts.
• Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of the office location.

Responsabilités

• Negotiate power purchase agreements and energy service agreements.
• Advise on complex electric market design issues.
• Represent clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
• Counsel clients on emerging energy policy and procurement strategies.
