The role focuses on energy transition and digital infrastructure, requiring expertise in negotiating power agreements and understanding regulatory frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in energy law and a JD from an accredited law school. Benefits include a competitive salary ranging from $190,000 to $390,000 annually based on experience.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in energy law, including regulatory and transactional experience.
• Familiarity with the Federal Power Act and power market mechanisms.
• Demonstrated ability to draft bespoke energy contracts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate power purchase agreements and energy service agreements.
• Advise on electric market design issues within RTOs/ISOs.
• Represent clients in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
• Counsel on emerging energy policy and carbon-free energy procurement.
