Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Manager to lead and support transmission, substation, distribution, gas and IT projects with cross-functional teams. You’ll manage scope, schedule, and safety, guiding programs from business case through closeout with typical budgets from $250K to $5M.

The role requires coordinating with sponsors and stakeholders, delivering timely communications, and mentoring teammates. Occasional long hours during storms may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required for construction PM roles, with 2–4 years of PM or related experience.
• Non-construction PM track accepts a Business or Engineering degree with 2–4 years of PM experience or a HS diploma with 3–6 years.
• Proven ability to build consensus, establish trust and drive culture change.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader with multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience developing process improvements and using technology for performance.
• Valid driver's license and access to an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support project and program performance across multiple domains.
• Manage costs, schedule, scope and risks with recovery plans as needed.
• Coordinate requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with team members, line managers and contractors.
• Communicate with sponsor and stakeholders on project issues at various levels.
• Coach team members to ensure responsibilities are understood and tasks completed.
• Identify and obtain project team resources with management assistance.
