Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP seeks a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for its Energy Industry Team and infrastructure initiatives, including data centers and P3s. The role supports cross‑functional collaboration with Practice Groups and leadership nationwide, with travel as needed.

You will shape BD strategies, manage a portfolio, mentor BD staff, and report on KPIs while aligning with firm goals and client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required—marketing, communications, business or related area preferred.
Minimum five years of experience in a B2B professional services or legal setting.
Strong strategic planning and development skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Proven leadership and ability to work cross-functionally.
Willingness to travel across the firm's national footprint.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio including the Energy Industry Team and related initiatives.
Make independent decisions on BD priorities with leaders and executives.
Collaborate with Practice Groups and Industry Teams on performance and offerings.
Lead strategies for client engagement, proposals and pitches.
Oversee BD Associates and Coordinators on portfolio projects.
Define timelines, budgets and KPI reporting for initiatives.
Develop insights on industry trends and outreach opportunities.
