Job summary

Google is expanding its Energy Market Development team to architect, launch, and scale high-impact energy programs that support a low-cost, clean, and reliable energy supply for Google’s global data centers. The role focuses on community benefits through programs like community solar and LMI initiatives, partnering with utilities and stakeholders to translate energy frameworks into replicable models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and design of energy impact programs; analyze utility frameworks to maximize community benefit.
• Architect, launch, and scale energy programs using established utility programs and state initiatives.
• Provide business operations support: budget models, ROI, impact metrics, governance for scalable execution.
• Collaborate with Global Infrastructure, Finance, Legal, and Public Policy to align funding with strategic initiatives.
• Partner with electric utilities and stakeholders to structure, negotiate, and operationalize energy programs with compliant reporting.
