Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an on-site installer to travel to pre-scheduled residential and small commercial appointments, installing energy-efficient equipment and educating customers on applicable programs.

You will handle basic wiring, lighting, HVAC-related tasks, and safety testing while maintaining organized records and working closely with trade allies to improve program outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in basic wiring, lighting, HVAC, troubleshooting.
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Experience installing technologies and using tools.
• Background in building science or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Install energy efficient equipment and products according to procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and company standards.
• Complete required paperwork and inventory reports.
• Travel to pre-scheduled appointments and assist customers and trade allies.
