Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a Field Energy Advisor to work directly with homeowners, landlords, and utility customers in North Carolina. You will deliver expert guidance on energy efficiency measures and help clients realize savings through installed programs, combining on-site fieldwork with office follow-ups.

The role requires 1–2 years in energy utilities or related sales, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, in energy or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years in electric/natural gas utility, facilities, HVAC or energy sales.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of energy saving products as directed by program management.
• Promote energy efficiency programs to customers and stakeholders.
• Make outbound calls and pursue new business with customers.
• Deliver presentations and respond to inquiries to advance projects.
• Enter data and manage projects using spreadsheets/databases.
• Collaborate with Energy Engineers and team members as needed.
• Assist the Program Manager in training new team members.
