Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center, monitoring plant processes and equipment to maximize production, quality, and safety on a 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, operating DCS/PLC, following SOPs, and coordinating with maintenance and QA. A Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher is required, plus basic MS Office and CMMS skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Preferred: two-year technical/vocational training, military background or 3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective operation.
• Maintain daily logs and monitor plant equipment, including DCS & PLC controls.
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, and operations to ensure consistent plant performance.
• Follow plant policies, procedures and SOPs; keep the plant clean and organized.
• Assist with training materials and updating operating procedures and manuals.
