Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center operations on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will monitor process controls, coordinate with teams, and ensure maintenance of procedures to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role requires Minnesota licensure, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work with CMMS and plant control systems, while communicating effectively and managing time across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a State of Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Computer skills: basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Power Point
• Must have the ability to work effectively with computerized maintenance management system
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Time management skills
• Preferred minimum degree from a two year college or a technical/vocational school, military background or 3 years work experience

Responsibilities

• Operate Energy Center safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
• Communicate regularly with operators to ensure shift consistency.
• Follow all plant policies and procedures.
• Keep plant clean and organized.
• Maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals for process operations.
• Work with plant DCS & PLC control systems.
• Take daily logs for all plant equipment.
• Assist with the grain handling, shipping and receiving areas.
