Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center operations. You will monitor plant processes, operate on a 12-hour rotating shift, and support policies focused on safety, production, and quality.

Ideal candidates will hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, have CMMS experience, and be proficient with MS Office tools. Strong communication and time management skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift to maximize production, quantity, and quality.
• Communicate regularly with operators to ensure consistent operation across shifts.
• Follow all plant policies and procedures and keep the plant clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining/update operating procedures and training manuals for process operations.
• Work with plant DCS & PLC control systems and take daily logs of equipment.
