Job summary

The position requires a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, basic MS Office skills, and experience with a computerized maintenance management system. Strong communication and time-management abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work with computerized maintenance management system.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Preferred: two-year college/technical school, military background or 3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Maintain safe, timely, and cost-effective plant operations.
• Communicate regularly with operators to ensure consistent operation across shifts.
• Follow all plant policies and procedures and keep the plant clean and organized.
• Assist with updating operating procedures and training manuals for process operations.
• Work with plant DCS & PLC control systems and take daily logs.
• Assist with grain handling, shipping and receiving areas.
• Participate in QA, maintenance, and safety programs.
• Monitor process chemicals inventories and plant cleanliness.
