Job summary
Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an Energy Analyst in San Diego to advance building energy efficiency and decarbonization. You will develop energy models, analyze data, and support sustainable design and optimization projects.
You will collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and stakeholders and contribute to energy audits, retro-commissioning, and net-zero planning. This hybrid role requires two in-office days per week in San Diego.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
- Knowledge of MEP systems, sustainable building design, and decarbonized energy systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze building energy models for new and existing buildings.
- Analyze utility consumption and building data to identify energy-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate MEP systems and sustainable design strategies for efficiency and decarbonization.
- Support energy audits, retro-commissioning, and building optimization.
- Contribute to net-zero energy and carbon neutrality planning.
