Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an Energy Analyst in San Diego to support High-Performance Buildings Services. You will develop energy models, evaluate performance data, and advise on sustainable design and operations to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients on energy audits, retro-commissioning, and net-zero planning while advancing a culture of ownership and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and decarbonized energy concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork ability.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze building energy models for new and existing facilities.
• Evaluate energy use, performance data, and efficiency opportunities.
• Support energy audits, retro-commissioning, and building optimization.
• Contribute to net-zero energy and decarbonization planning.
• Prepare calculations and technical reports communicating findings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders on schedules and budgets.
