Job summary
Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, seeks an Energy Analyst in San Francisco to advance energy efficiency, sustainability, and decarbonization through technical analysis and consulting within the High-Performance Buildings Services Group.
You will develop energy models, analyze utility data, and support net-zero planning while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver client-ready findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, sustainable design, and decarbonized energy systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze building energy models for new, existing, and renovation projects.
- Analyze utility consumption and building data to identify energy-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate MEP systems and design strategies for energy efficiency and decarbonization.
- Support energy audits, retro-commissioning, and other optimization services.
- Perform analyses to support net-zero energy and carbon neutrality planning.
- Assist with energy code analyses (ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, Title 24).
- Prepare calculations, reports, and client-facing deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and owners to meet project goals.
