Job summary

Burford’s Construction is seeking a top-performing Trimmer A with 3+ years of climbing and pruning experience. You will perform climbing, rigging, and removal tasks with safety and precision, and operate bucket trucks/chainsaws as needed.

English communication is required; bilingual abilities are a plus. CDL preferred and willingness to travel or work overtime are noted. This is a full-time on-site position with the opportunity to contribute to storm restoration efforts when required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience required.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Willing to travel and work overtime.
• Able to lift 50 lbs+ and work at heights.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority and promote safety in the work environment.
• Read and understand pruning techniques and related tree care tasks.
• Perform climbing and rigging in pruning and removal with precision.
• Operate bucket trucks, chainsaws, and chippers as needed.
• Assist in training less experienced climbers and bucket operators.
• Work around energized lines with proper safety protocols.
