Ursa Major seeks an Energetics Quality Specialist to support the energetics manufacturing process from incoming material acceptance through propellant testing and final motor inspection.

Responsibilities include laboratory testing, data collection, and ensuring traceability across raw materials, test samples, and production lots. You will review results, support continuous improvement, and maintain a safe, compliant lab environment.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience in laboratory testing, materials testing, chemical processing, energetic-material manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, or manufacturing quality.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, work instructions, acceptance criteria, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain traceability of material, sample, batch, and serialized-product data.
• Ability to recognize nonconforming results and clearly document observed conditions.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming and periodic reacceptance testing of materials per specs.
• Conduct laboratory tests including titrations, viscosity, moisture, and particle-size analyses.
• Perform lot-acceptance testing of raw materials.
• Collect and test samples from propellant mixing and manufacturing operations.
• Operate test equipment and collect data with documented traceability.
• Review batch reports and test results for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare End Item Data Packages for completed motor assemblies.
• Initiate Discrepancy Reports for engineering evaluation.
