Ursa Major is seeking a Development Technician to join the energetic materials production team in Colorado. You will oversee full-scale propellant mixing, material handling, and related setup for production and development programs.

Responsibilities include milling, material weighing, maintaining a clean workspace under FOD standards, and collaborating with engineers to drive process improvements and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Safety-focused mindset with high focus on quality and production processes.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals beyond standard solvents and cleaners
• 0–2 years in manufacturing, chemical, or pharmaceutical processing
• Able to lift 50lbs without assistance
• CDLE Type I explosives permit eligibility (employer sponsored)

Responsabilités

• Full scale propellant mixing and material handling per program requirements.
• Milling and weighing material bins for propellant mixes.
• Maintain clean, organized space meeting FOD standards.
• Assist engineers and scale up production with feedback.
• Support development and new production initiatives.
