Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who leads with energy, ownership, and purpose on the sales floor. This role supports the Store Manager in driving sales results, coaching the team, and keeping the store operations running smoothly day in and day out.

As a hands-on leader with an “Always on, Never no” mindset, you will set the tone on the floor, develop staff, and ensure a great customer experience while meeting KPI targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in leadership or key-holding roles.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge while keeping customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Keep the store organized, customer-ready, and running smoothly while following safety and SOPs.
• Take ownership of store execution and leverage retail tech to enhance the customer experience.
