Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help bring sneaker culture to life by leading with energy and ownership. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and keeping the store running smoothly.

As a hands-on leader, you will stay connected to customers and teammates, set the tone on the floor, and deliver a great customer experience with an "Always on, Never no" mindset. This role offers growth opportunities within the Foot Locker family.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holder role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Open/close store operations, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Maintain store standards, safety, and loss prevention procedures.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and assist with hiring/training.
• Coach teammates and address performance gaps to drive results.
