Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead with energy and ownership, support the Store Manager, and coach a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer moments.

You will help drive sales, mentor associates, handle daily store operations, and uphold safety and standards while acting as Manager on Duty when scheduled. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key‑holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience & Sales: Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for customers.
• Store Ops & Execution: Manage daily operations, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Teamwork & Leadership: Serve as Manager on Duty, assist hiring, onboarding, and coaching.
