Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers seeks a hands-on Educational Support personnel to actively supervise students in a school-based child care program under qualified leadership. You will help promote community relations with families and school staff while supporting a safe, engaging environment.

This role emphasizes reliable supervision, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with the director and team to ensure program quality and student well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Complete at least 15 clock hours of training each year.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to work with school-age children.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Active supervision of students in the school-based child care program under the guidance of a qualified leader, assistant director or director.
• Participates in and plays with students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
• Follows program policies and district facility usage with care.
• Communicates effectively with parents, students, school staff and coworkers.
